Turkey’s Izmir Demir Celik (IDC Steel) is all set to double the capacity of its melting shop from 1,40,000t pa to 2,80,000 t pa. Accordingly, the company’s share in overall country’s steel production will increase to 7% from 3.5%. This decision has been taken to overcome economic and sectorial challenges faced the company and the nation.
