Turkey: Flat steel exports fall 18%, m-o-m, in April

Turkish mills exported 510,000 t of flat steel in Apr’22, down 18% compared with 620,000 t in the previous month. The largest share of exports was of HRC and plates at 150,000 t, followed by galvanised steel, pipes and tubes at 140,000 t each. Egypt, the USA and Romania were among the leading importing nations from Turkey during the month.
