Turkey: Finished Steel Export Surged in Oct’19

Turkey’s Finish long & Flat steel exports surged by 1.08% & 13.8%, respectively in Oct’19, as per the custom data maintained with SteelMint.

Finish Long Steel- Turkey’s finish long steel export marginal up by 1.08% M-o-M & recorded at 0.93 MnT in Oct’19 as against 0.92 MnT in Sep’19.

However, on a yearly basis exports plunged by 13.9% in Oct’19 as against 1.08 MnT in Oct’18.

Unload Country wise- Israel and Yemen both stood as top importer of finished long steel from Turkey and marked at 0.13 MnT in Oct’19 in which Israel import down by 7.14% against 0.14 MnT in Sep’19, whereas Yemen import enlarged by 160% as against 0.05 MnT in Sep’19, followed by Singapore 0.06 MnT in Oct’19 plunged by 45% as against 0.11 MnT in Sep’19.

Finish Flat Steel export by Turkey is registered at 0.66 MnT in Oct’19 surged by 13.8% on a monthly basis as compared to 0.58 MnT in previous month and in yearly comparison also country’s flat steel exports increased by 3.12% against 0.64 MnT in Oct’18.
