Finish Long Steel Imports in Turkey consequent to fall and as per latest data released by custom, it decline by around 3% M-o-M in May’18.
As per the Turkey’s custom, the nation has imported about 88,097 MT Finish long steel in May 2018 against 91,004 MT in April 2018, plunged by 3.19% on monthly premises. While on yearly basis, imports have seen steep hike by 34% against 65,712 MT in May 2017.
Sub-Commodity Wise – Structure registered with major proportionate and reported at 51,095 MT in May’18 against 42,194 MT in Apr’18 which is surge by more than 21% followed by Rebar at 31,687 MT in May’18 against 43,126 MT in Apr’18 down by around 27% and last but not least Wire Rod at 5,315 MT in May’18 against 5,684 MT in Apr’18, down by 6.49%.
Country Wise – In the month of May 2018, the largest exporter of Finish Long Steel to Turkey was Spain – 30,658 MT down by more than 10% followed by United Kingdom – 18,828 MT surge by more than 35% & Germany stood at 8,721 MT up by 21%.
During May’18, significant fall registered from Russia which has exported nearly 1% in comparison to Apr’18 and registered at 129 MT in May’18 against 12,783 MT in Apr’18.
