Ferrous scrap imports to Turkey witnessed a 32% m-o-m fall in May, due to tight availability and diminished demand in late-Feb & March’20 for May delivery cargoes, amid growing COVID-19 pandemic at that time. Turkey imported just 1.17 mnt in May’20 as against 1.72 mnt in Apr’20.
