Turkey: Ferrous scrap import prices rise in recent deals

Ferrous scrap import prices into Turkey have increased by around $5/t, sources informed SteelMint.
A US-origin ferrous scrap cargo was booked by a West-Marmara-based steel mill for Nov’21 shipment comprising HMS 1&2 (80:20) at a price of $448/t CFR.
Shredded scrap was booked at around $463/t CFR.
