- Import scrap prices into Turkey have risen further by around $5-10/t in a deal heard recently.
- A Baltic-origin scrap cargo containing 21,000 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked at $487/t CFR, while 4,000 t of shredded scrap was booked at $507/t CFR.
- The cargo was booked by a steel mill based in the East Marmara region.
