The prices of Turkey ferrous scrap import has moved down W-o-W by USD 21/MT as compared to the previous week.
Turkish scrap import has seen a downfall W-o-W by USD 21/MT, reason being growing supply of available scrap and Chinese steel price have soften which has effected the global steel market. The prices for Turkey scrap have been volatile.
According to sources, European Suppliers have sold a mix cargo of 20,000 MT (HMS 1&2 75:25), 3,000 MT (Shredded) & 12,000 MT (PS & HMS 1) to a Turkey based company KAPTAN at an Avg. price of USD 280/MT
Another company ICDAS (Turkey’s 2nd largest scrap importing company) had a deal of 20,000 MT (HMS 1&2 75:25), 5,000 MT (New Cuttings) & 10,000 MT (PS HMS 1) at an Avg. of USD 280/MT.
Also a Cargo is said to have been sold to ICDAS containing 15,000 MT (HMS 1&2 75:25), 5,000 MT (Shredded) & 15,000 MT (Bonus) for April Shipment
According to SteelMint Analysis the buyers may stay reluctant in buying further as the Chinese steel market has soften and iron ore prices are also seeing a downfall.
