Turkey: Ferrous scrap import increases by 11% in Dec’20

Turkey- the world’s largest ferrous scrap importer, witnessed a significant rise of 11% in Dec’20. The country imported 2.23 mn t in Dec’20 as against 2.01 mn t a month ago, as per data recorded with SteelMint. Turkey’s scrap imports remained on the higher side backed by restocking ahead of winters.
