With the recent release of trade data by Turkish Customs, the nation imported 1.23 MnT Ferrous scrap in Oct’16, witnessed a downfall in ferrous scrap import by 11% M-o-M against 1.38 MnT imported in Sep’16. However, there is an increase in ferrous scrap import by 7% Y-o-Y against 1.15 MnT imported in same period last year.
The nation imported 14.13 MnT of Ferrous Scrap during the initial ten-month period of the year, witnessed a growth of 7% Y-o-Y against 13.18 MnT ferrous scrap imported during Jan-Oct’15.
• Turkey imported 0.21 MnT Ferrous Scrap from USA in Oct’16, registered a downfall of 30% M-o-M against 0.30 MnT imported in Sep’16. Import were down by 38% Y-o-Y in Oct’16.
• Turkey imported 0.19 MnT ferrous Scrap from Belgium in Oct’16, registered a growth of 138% M-o-M against 0.08 MnT imported during Sep’16. Import were up by 73% Y-o-Y in Oct’16.
• Turkey imported 0.18 MnT ferrous Scrap from United Kingdom in Oct’16, registered a downfall of 5% M-o-M against 0.19 MnT imported in Sep’16. Import were down by 10% in Oct’16.
• Turkey imported 0.18 MnT Ferrous Scrap from Russia in Oct’16, registered a downfall of 10% M-o-M against 0.20 MnT imported in Sep’16. Import were down by 18% Y-o-Y in Oct’16.
• Turkey imported 0.11 MnT Ferrous Scrap from Canada in Oct’16, registered a growth of 120% M-o-M against 0.05 MnT imported in Sep’16. A very nominal quantity was imported in Oct’15.
