Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a Vedanta subsidiary in commercial power has developed greenfield Thermal Power Project with capacity of 1980 MW in Punjab.
To meet statutory requirement of Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) to maintain Ash 34% in coal, TSPL invites bids for supply of 7.72 MnT beneficiated coal (washed coal) to Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, Mansa.
The bidder shall quote the prices in INR currency.
The validity of the bid shall be six months from the date of tender opening date.
The Contractor shall pay such taxes, duties, levies, fees and other impositions as may be levied under the applicable law, the amount of which is deemed to have been included in the bid price.
Penalties will be levied on account of higher ash, excess total moisture, lapsed quantity of coal. Under loading and over loading charges imposed by Railways would also be incurred by the bidder.
Eligibility
1. Heavy Media Cyclone or Heavy Media Bath or Wet Jig. Availability of spare capacity for washing.
2. Supply of atleast 1 Lakh MT beneficiated/imported/domestic coal in any of preceding 3 years.
3. Average Annual Turnover of INR 40 crore in preceding 3 Financial Years.
4. Readiness of material on due date.

Due date of bid submission is 30 May’17 till 11:00 hrs and techno-commercial opening is scheduled on same day at 11:30 hrs.
