Rural Development Department (RDD), Govt. of Tripura, has invited a tender for purchase of total 50,000 MT ISI marked Portland pozzolana cement/ Portland slag cement/ Ordinary portland cement for its various locations. The required material can be from indigenous as well imported sources.

Specification
1. The net mass of the cement should be 50 kg/bag, excluding the mass of HDPE bag.
2. The relevant grade of the cement should be clearly indicate.
3. The cement should not be older than 6 weeks from the date of manufacturing.
4. For PPC, the percentage of fly ash addition in cement is also need to be mentioned.
Eligibility criteria
Bidder shall submit the copy of following documents:
1. BIS registration certificate of manufacturer
2. Factory license of manufacturer
3. Trade license of bidder
4. Experience certificate, including copy of purchase order issued by any govt. department or PSUs
5. Manufacturing capacity of the unit
6. Power of attorney in favor of local agent
7. Sale tax clearance certificate / VAT clearance certificate of bidder/ copy of last VAT return
8. PAN card and VAT registration certificate
9. Document in support of having go-down of cement at Tripura
Terms and conditions for importer of foreign manufacturer
1. Importer should have valid import-export certificate
2. Importer should have valid agreement with one or more cement manufacturer of foreign. Foreign manufacturer cannot participate in the tender directly
3. No road permit will be issued for cement supply
4. Importer must have go-down/ stockyard at Tripura
