The EU seaborne ferrous scrap exports are estimated to drop 14% to 19.5 mnt in 2021 from 22.6 mnt in 2020. USA’s exports were up 3% to over 17 mnt on improved steel demand in buyer countries. Exports from Japan declined a sharp 23% y-o-y to 7 mnt in 2021 against 9.10 mnt in 2020.
