Japan’s major steel manufacturer, Tokyo Steel has increased its domestic steel prices by JPY 3,000-5,000/t for July month on the back of upward trend in international markets and strong demand from China. The company expects rise in demand as the government has started to lift COVID-19-induced lockdown restrictions.
