TNPL’s Purchase Tender for 24,000 MT South African Non-coking Coal

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Paper Limited (TNPL), a producer of bagasse based eco-friendly papers, has emerged as the largest bagasse based paper mill in the world consuming about 1 MnT of bagasse every year.

The company has invited a global tender for the purchase of 24,000 MT non-coking coal of South African origin on C&F Karaikal basis for its factory siding at Pugalur.

The offer will remain valid for the period of 15 days from the date of e-auction or price bid opening.

The delivery of the first rack should be started within 5 days of arrival of the vessel and the entire cargo should be delivered within 60 days of completion of vessel discharge. The first shipment is scheduled on 1st week of Dec’16.

Bidder who are interested for this tender, should have supplied atleast 25,000 MT South African coal to industrial unit in India in any one of the year from 2014 to 2016.

Sulphur (air dried): around 1%
