- Thailand’s steel billets imports increased by 12% m-o-m to 191,071 t in Jan’23 compared to 169,885 t in Dec’22, as per customs data.
- Oman was the largest exporter with 80,658 t followed by Japan with 56,051 t.
- However, imports fell by 28% y-o-y compared to 266,985 t in Jan’22.
