- Thailand’s steel billets imports rose by 111% m-o-m in Nov’22 to 224,656 t from 106,440 t in the previous month, as per data recently released by Customs.
- Oman was the largest exporter with 125,314 t followed by Japan with 26,787 t.
- However, import volumes fell by 16.6% y-o-y to 2.37 mnt in Jan-Nov’22 as against 2.84 mnt in the year-ago period.
