Thailand: Pipes, tubes imports slide 42% on month in Aug’21

Thailand has recorded a de-growth of 42%, m-o-m, in imports of steel pipes and tubes in Aug’21, as per customs data. Imports totalled 15,772 t in comparison with 27,363 t in Jul, SteelMint gleaned from available sources. Meanwhile, on an annual basis, imports edged down 28%, y-o-y, to 185,587 t against 259,532 t in the year-ago month.
