Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports hit 28-month low in Oct’22

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports volume narrowed to 28-month low of 84,941 t in Oct’22, which drifted down by 19.58% against 105,630 t in Sept’22.
The US was the largest exporter at 16,197 t followed by Japan at 11,162 t and Cambodia at 7,571 t.
The total import volume rose by 6.94% to 1,394,483 t during Jan-Oct’22 compared to the same period last year.
