Thailand: Ferrous scrap imports decrease by nearly 30% m-o-m, in Jul’22

Thailand’s ferrous scrap imports fell by 29% to 122,584 t in Jul’22 as against 173,280 t in Jun’22, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Australia continued to be the top exporter with 18,020 t followed by USA and Panama with 15,945 t and 13,718 t respectively.
On a y-o-y basis, scrap imports declined by 28.6% from 171,675t in Jul’21.
