Thailand: Billets imports rise by 16%, m-o-m, in Jan’22

Thailand’s billets imports in Jan’22 rose to 0.27 mnt from 0.23 mnt in Dec’21, a m-o-m rise of 16.14%, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the largest exporter with 0.06 mn t, followed by Oman and Ukraine with 0.04 mnt each.
Also, billets imports rose sharply by 52% y-o-y compared to 0.17 mnt in the same month last year.
