The Q2 of FY16 is quite beneficial for Tata Steel as its production of hot metal, crude steel and saleable steel increased by 3%, 11% and 9% Y-o-Y respectively. The company registered a production of 2.66 MnT hot metal, 2.51 MnT crude steel and 2.41 MnT of saleable steel in Q2 FY16.
In contrast to half-yearly production, Tata Steel’s production of hot metal raised by 3% to 5.25 MnT; crude steel by 5% to 4.85 MnT and saleable steel by 4% to 4.64 MnT in H1 FY16.
In deliveries terms, the company registered a growth of 11% to 2.33 MnT in Q2 FY16 and 6% to 4.48 MnT in H1 FY16.
