Taiwan’s Yusco slashes Vietnamese 300-series stainless steel imports

Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading Taiwanese stainless steel producer, has successfully curtailed imports of Vietnamese 300-series stainless steel cold-rolled coil through an anti-dumping complaint. August imports dropped 44% from July to 1,254 t, the lowest since October last year. As per reports, a three-month consecutive decline since June, reflecting the lawsuit’s impact and signaling positive prospects for Taiwan’s domestic market rebound.
