Taiwan’s long steel exports surge 48% on month in Oct’21

Taiwanese steel mills exported 129,897 t of long steel products in Oct’21 versus 88,033 t in Sep, an increase of 48% m-o-m, as per data maintained by SteelMint.

• Rebar export volumes jumped 59% to 94,477 t.
• Exports of structurals rose by 34%, while those of wire rods dipped 9% on the month.

The main export destinations were South Korea, Australia, China and Thailand.
