China Steel , Taiwan’s top steel producer, said on Thursday it will slash domestic prices of its steel products for July-August by an average of 4.19% from June, reflecting concerns of the devastating earthquake in Japan, the debt problems in the euro zone and higher commodity prices.
Price of flat products have been reduced by T$ 1500-2000.
