As per SteelDaily, Yusco, Taiwan’s leading stainless steel producer, plans to hike the price of 304 stainless steel by NTD$4,000/t ($122/t) in May, while keeping the price of 316L unchanged and freezing the cost of 430 stainless steel. Export prices for the 300 series will also rise by $100-$150/t, varying by region and customer, with no adjustments for 316L Extra and 400 series stainless steel.
