Taiwan’s largest stainless steel producer, Yusco, has cut August 2024 prices for 304 stainless steel by NT$1,000/t ($30/t), while keeping 316L and 430 prices unchanged. The reduction is attributed to a weak domestic market and falling nickel prices. Export prices will vary by region and customer, with potential for individual negotiation.
