Taiwanese stainless steel major Yusco has increased prices of 304 stainless steel by TWD 1,000/t ($32/t) for Oct’25 surcharges. Meanwhile 316L and 430 surcharges remain stable. The revision follows rising production costs driven by US Fed rate cuts and Indonesia’s mining restrictions, which are lifting nickel prices. Yusco said it will absorb part of costs amid CBAM uncertainties and weak demand recovery.
