The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), a state-owned electric power utility which supplies power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of China, has invited a tender for purchase of 560,000 t of low ash and extra low sulphur sub-bituminous coal. The last date for receiving the bid is scheduled on 19 Oct’21 at 5 p.m. (Taipei time). The shipment is scheduled for Mar-Jun’22.
