Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) located in Zhongzheng District of Taipei City has floated a tender for Coal procurement from abroad countries at Taiwan.
General Conditions
- Required quantity should be shipped in 4 Panamax Vessels each with 75,000 MT +/-10%
- The supplied quantity of Coal should be delivered from single mine by bidders
- Supply of Coal for the shipment from more than one mine will not be allowed
- Suppliers should have an experience of supplying at least 30,000 MT of Coal, which they have exported in the past five (5) years from the mines
- Quoted prices shall be on both, FOBT port of loading and C & F port of discharging, Taiwan basis

- Gross Calorific Value: 4,800 Kcal/Kg min
- Total Moisture: 30% max
- Ash: 6.0% max
- Fixed Carbon: 60% max
Quantity: 300,000 MT
Delivery Period: Between Oct-Dec, 2014

- Bid opening date: 09:30 hrs on 26 Aug, 2014 (Taipei time)
Taipower had floated last Coal tender for purchase of 375,000 MT Coal during Jul’14.
