Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) located in Zhongzheng District of Taipei City, has issued tender notice for supply of Coal from abroad countries at Taiwan.
General Conditions
- Required quantity should be shipped in 5 Panamax Vessels X 75,000 MT +/-10%
- The supplied quantity of Coal should be delivered from single mine by bidders. Supply of Coal for the shipment from more than one mine will not be allowed
- Suppliers should have an experience of supplying at least 30,000 MT of Coal which they have exported in the past five (5) years from the mines.
- Quoted prices shall be on both, FOBT port of loading and C & F port of discharging, Taiwan basis.
- Bidders shall quote only one offer for each shipment; no alternative quotation will be considered

- Gross Calorific Value: 5,000 Kcal/Kg Min
- Total Moisture: 28% Max
- Ash: 15% Max
- Fixed Carbon: 60% Max
Quantity: 375,000 MT
Delivery Period: Between Jun-Aug, 2014

- Bid opening date: 09:30 hrs on 25 Mar, 2014 (Taipei time).
Taipower had floated last Coal tender for purchase of 825,000 MT Coal during Feb’14.
