Taiwan: Taipower Tenders for 375,000 MT Coal Purchase

Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) has invited tender for purchase of 375,000 MT bituminous coal.

General Conditions

1. Required quantity should be shipped in 5 Panamax Vessels each with 75,000 MT +/-10%
2. The supplied quantity of Coal should be delivered from single mine by bidders
3. Supply of Coal for the shipment from more than one mine will not be allowed
4. Suppliers should have an experience of supplying at least 30,000 MT of Coal, which they have exported in the past five (5) years from the mines
5. Quoted prices shall be on both, FOBT port of loading and C & F port of discharging, Taiwan basis

Specification

1.   Gross Calorific Value: 4,800 Kcal/Kg min
2.   Total Moisture: 30% max
3.   Ash: 6.0% max
4.   Fixed Carbon: 60% max

Quantity: 375,000 MT

Delivery Period: Between 23 Aug-11 Nov, 2015
