Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) located in Zhongzheng district of Taipei City has again floated a global tender for procurement of Coal in the month of June.
Taipower is floating a tender for procurement of Coal with shipment period from Aug-Nov, 2014.
General Conditions
- Required quantity should be shipped in 5 Panamax Vessels each with 75,000 MT +/-10%
- The supplied quantity of Coal should be delivered from single mine by bidders
- Supply of Coal for the shipment from more than one mine will not be allowed
- Suppliers should have an experience of supplying at least 30,000 MT of Coal, which they have exported in the past five (5) years from the mines
- Quoted prices shall be on both, FOBT port of loading and C & F port of discharging, Taiwan basis

- Gross Calorific Value (as received): 5,000 Kcal/Kg min
- Total Moisture (as received): 28% max
- Ash (Air Dried): 15% max
- Volatile Matter (Air Dried): 28 min
- Fixed Carbon (Air Dried): 60% max
Quantity: 375,000 MT
Delivery Period: Between Aug-Nov, 2014

Taipower had floated its last Coal tender for purchase of 300,000 MT Coal during Jun’14.
