The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is a state-owned electric power utility providing electric power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of Republic of China, has invited a limited tender for purchase of 240,000 MT low sulfur sub bituminous coal from Powder River Basin of the United States.
General conditions
1. Delivery period is from Sep’17 to Oct’17.
2. The material shall be shipped by 3 Panamax size vessels, each carrying 80,000 MT+/-10%.
3. Bidder may offer one or more shipments.
4. The bid bond is USD 80,000 or TWD 2,596,000 per shipment.
