The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is a state-owned electric power utility providing electric power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of Republic of China, has invited a open tender for purchase of 240,000 MT low sulfur sub-bituminous coal from Powder River Basin of the United States.
General conditions:
Delivery period is from Sep’17 to Oct’17.
The material shall be shipped by 3 Panamax size vessels, each carrying 80,000 MT+/-10%.
Bidder may offer one or more shipments.
The bid bond is USD 80,000 or TWD 2,596,000 per shipment.
