Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) has invited global tender for purchase of 750,000 MT general sub-bituminous coal for Taipower thermal power plant, Taiwan.
General conditions
1. Delivery period is from Mar’16 to Jun’16.
2. The coal should be shipped by 10 Panamax size vessels, each with 75,000 MT+/-10%.
3. Bidder may offer one or more shipments.
4. The bid bond is USD 75,000 or TWD 2,355,000 per shipment.
5. The bidder proposing coal mine with Indonesian origin is requested to provide a copy of ET Batubara issued by Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.

1. Gross calorific value: 5,000 kcal/kg min
2. Total moisture: 28% max
3. Ash (air dried): 11% max
4. Sulphur content (air dried): 0.9% max
5. Volatile matter (air dried): 28 min
6. Fixed carbon (air dried): 60% max
