The Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) is a state-owned electric power utility providing electric power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of Republic of China, has invited a global tender for purchase of 640,000 MT of low ash and extra low sulphur sub-bituminous coal for Taipower thermal power plant.
Bidders shall quote prices on both FOBT port of loading and CFR port of discharging, Taiwan basis. Bids can be submitted by any supplier, including foreign coal mine owners, producers, operators, agents and trading companies. The delivery of the material is scheduled from Jul’16 to Dec’16 in total 8 shipments of 80,000 MT each.
