Taiwan Power Company Limited (Taipower) has concluded the tender for purchase of 1.20 MnT sub-bituminous coal which closed on 5 Dec’16.
As per the source, company bought the material in total 15 panamax shipment from Glencore, LG International, and Advance Trading. Glencore offer total 6 cargoes out of which 5 is of Russian coal and one is of Indonesian coal, LG International offers only 1 cargo of Indonesian coal and Advance Trading offers 8 cargoes of US coal.
The price is settled at an evaluated CFR price between USD 93 to USD 97 per MT, basis 6,322 kcal/kg GAR.
The delivery of the coal is scheduled between Jan’17 to May’17.
