Taiwan Power Company Limited (Taipower) has concluded the purchase tender of 1.12 MnT sub-bituminous coal which was due on 9 Dec’16 and managed to purchase only 640,000 MT sub-bituminous Indonesian coal.
As per market sources, the company bought the material in total 8 panamax shipments of 80,000 MT each, out of which 6 panamax from ‘Adaro’ and 2 panamax from ‘Energy Trading’ of Indonesia.
The price is settled at an evaluated CFR price between USD 97 to USD 101 per MT, basis 6,322 kcal/kg GAR.
Delivery of the material has been scheduled between Jan’17 to May’17.
