According to the recent data released by World Steel Association (WSA), Taiwan’s crude steel output in Sep’19 witnessed at 1.83 MnT, decline 3.17% on monthly basis as against Aug’19 at 2.04 MnT.
— Taiwan coal imports have increased 3.6% M-o-M to 6.09 MnT in Sep’19.
— Taiwan iron ore imports for Sep’19 recorded at 1.84 MnT, decline by 8.8% M-o-M as compared to 2.02 MnT in Aug’19. Inline on yearly premises, imports decline by 6.8% as against 1.97 MnT in Sep’18.
— Taiwan ferrous scrap imports fall by 9.3% in Sep’19.
— Billet imports surge by 16.8% M-o-M after recording five month low in Aug’19. The nation has imported about 0.29 MnT Billet in Sep’19 against 0.25 MnT in Aug’19.
— Taiwan has imported about 2.55 MnT billet in CY19 (Jan-Sep) & Russia was the major billet exporter, which exported about 1.26 MT (49.49%). Inline Japan exported around 0.92 MnT (36.07%).
— Taiwanese Ferro alloys imports increased by 16.6% in Sep’19 M-o-M.
