According to the recent data released by World Steel Association (WSA), Taiwan’s crude steel output in Oct’19 witnessed at 1,825,000 MnT, fall slightly on monthly basis as against Sep’19 at 1,830,000 MT.
— Taiwan coal imports have decreased 1.35% M-o-M to 6,010,321 MT in Oct’19.
— Taiwan iron ore imports for Oct’19 recorded at 1,842,029 MT, fall slightly as compared to 1,843,171 MT in Sep’19. Inline on yearly premises, imports decline by 29.14% as against 2,599,404 MT in Oct’18.
— Taiwan ferrous scrap imports fall by 21.36% in Oct’19.
— Billet imports surge by 2.29% M-o-M & the nation has imported about 301,334 MT Billet in Oct’19 against 294,594 MT in Sep’19.
— Taiwan has imported about 2,856,159 MT billet in CY19 (Jan-Oct) & Russia was the major billet exporter, which exported about 1,426,609 MT (49.95%). Inline Japan exported 1,030,901 MT (36.09%).
— Taiwanese Ferro alloys imports increased by 1.59% in Oct’19 M-o-M.
