As per the data maintained with SteelMint, the export log for Taiwan in Nov’19 is as follows-
1. Taiwan’s finish-long exports in Nov’19 declined by 4% and stood at 60,049 MT as compared to 62,744 MT in Oct’19.
However, on a yearly premise, the same plunged by 24% in Nov’19 as against 79,230 MT in Nov’18.
During the first eleven months (Jan-Nov) CY’19, Taiwan’s finish-long exports slashed by 26% to 7,24,300 MT, which was 9,78,026 MT in a similar time frame of CY’18.
2. The nation’s finish-flat export volumes tumbled by 6% to 6,53,424 in Nov’19 in comparison with 6,97,254 MT a month ago.
Vietnam being the leading importer of Taiwan, slashed its import volumes by 33% and imported only 69,839 MT in Nov’19 amid increased preference for Indian and Russian origin material over competitive offers. In Oct’19, Taiwan had exported 1,04,589 MT of flat steel to Vietnam.
The nation’s export to other leading nations, namely China, Japan, and Malaysia also, declined in Nov’19.
Meanwhile, the same fell by 6% on a yearly premise in Nov’19 as compared with 6,96,579 MT in Nov’18.
During the first eleven months (Jan-Nov) CY’19, the nation’s aggregated export volumes stood at 82,88,834 MT, declined by 5% as against 87,30,653 MT in the corresponding months of CY’18.
