Taiwan: Stainless steel scrap exports rise 6% m-o-m in Sep’25

Taiwan’s stainless steel scrap exports increased 6% m-o-m in Sep’25 to 5,900 t from 5,600 t in Aug. However, total exports declined 18.5% y-o-y in Jan-Sep’25 to 41,000 t from 50,600 t last year. South Korea remained the largest buyer, importing 5,000 t in Sep, up 17% m-o-m, while Japan’s intake fell sharply to 142 t from 568 t in the previous month.
