Taiwan: Stainless steel scrap exports decline steeply by 16% m-o-m in Oct’25

Taiwan’s stainless steel scrap exports decreased 16% m-o-m in Oct to 4,976 t from 5,938 t in Sept. Meanwhile, total exports also declined by 15% y-o-y in Jan-Oct to 46,307 t from 54,250 t last year. South Korea remained the largest buyer, importing 4,054 t in Oct, down by 19% m-o-m, while India’s intake fell sharply to 68 t from 116 t in the previous month.
