Taiwan: Iron ore imports fall 13%, m-o-m, in Aug’22

Taiwan’s iron ore imports fell by 13% m-o-m to 1.76 mnt in Aug’22 from 2.02 mnt in Jul’22, as per data recently released by customs.
With 1.29 mnt, Australia was the top exporter, followed by Brazil 0.41 mnt.
Total import volumes were almost stable at 15.24 mnt in Jan-Aug’22 as against 15.47 mnt in the same period last year.
