Formosa Plastics Group based at Taiwan has issued three tenders to procure Bituminous Coal in various ports.
FPG has invited bids to procure imported Coal through three separate tenders at various ports. The company is seeking for supply of 6,000 GAR Kcal/kg, with various sizes of shipment in vessels namely Panamax, Handy & Cape vessels. Coal producers, marketing companies or traders can participate in this tender. Bidders shall quote their price for both FOB port of loading basis and CFR port of discharging basis. Bidder has to supply Coal from a single source. Bidders whose track record of supply to Formosa, five generation subsidiaries of KEPCO, Tai-Power and Japanese Power Utilities including J-Power in total for the past 3 years do not amount to 120,000 MT can only offer on CFR.
