According to the latest custom data, Taiwan flat steel exports which includes 7208 (HR coils /Plates),7209 (CR coils) and 7225 (Electrical sheets) have registered the hike of 39%,Y-o-Y to 0.71 MnT in Oct’16 against previous year. In Oct’15, country’s flat steel exports stood at 0.51 MnT.
On monthly basis, Taiwan’s flat steel exports rose significantly by 78%, M-o-M as compared to Sep’16 and stood at 0.40 MnT.
During the period of Jan-Oct of 2016 Taiwan flat steel exports recorded the growth of 5% Y-o-Y to 5.33 MnT against 5.1 MnT in corresponding time frame of previous year.
Meanwhile major flat steel exporting countries of Taiwan are Japan, Malaysia, followed by China and Bangladesh.
