Taiwan: Flat steel exports rise by 27%, m-o-m, in Oct’21

Taiwan’s flat steel export volumes jumped 27% to 0.87 mn t in Oct’21 against 0.69 mn t in Sep, SteelMint data shows.

• HRC/plate exports rose by 38% to 0.41 mn t.
• CRC exports were at 0.13 mn t (up 19%).
• Galvanised and electrical steel exports edged higher by 18% and 17%, respectively.
• Major export destinations were China, Vietnam, Japan, and USA.
