Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports largely stable, m-o-m, in Aug’22

Taiwan’s ferrous scrap imports were largely stable at 244,511 t in Aug’22 from 243,789 t in Jul’22, as per SteelMint data.
The USA continued to be the top exporter at 100,591 t, followed by Japan and Australia at 52,897 t and 19,783 t, respectively.
On a yearly basis, import volumes increased by 8% from 226,250 t in Aug’21.
