Taiwan: Ferrous scrap imports dip 4% m-o-m in Mar’22

Ferrous scrap imports by Taiwan dropped slightly by 4% to 0.24 mnt in Mar’22 as against 0.23 mnt in Feb’22, as per SteelMint data.
The US was the largest exporter at 0.12 mnt followed by Japan and the Dominican Republic with 0.03 mnt and 0.02 mnt, respectively.
On a yearly basis, the import volumes fell by 20% from 0.3 mnt in Mar’21.
